Hi Holly,
Welcome to planDisney! As the mama of an Autistic Mouseketeer myself, I'm super excited about the updates coming to the
Disability Access Service (DAS). This service has always been such a blessing to our family and helped my son have a magical time, but it's about to get even better!
I'm happy to share that yes, for visits beginning November 1st,
pre-registration is now available! That will allow you to video chat with a Cast Member between 2-30 days before your arrival, and they'll help you get everything set up so you're ready to hit the ground running once you arrive. In addition, you'll be able to reserve up to two experiences per day during your registration with
DAS Advance. You'll still be able to use DAS one attraction at a time on the day of your visit, too, but won't it be great knowing that you already have two attractions planned for each day?
At some point this fall, the ability to request return times right from the handy dandy My Disney Experience mobile app will be launching. We don't know yet when that will be, so I'd encourage you to keep an eye on
Disney's website for updates! Of course, you're always welcome back here again at planDisney, too!
Here's one more tip for you...if you'd like to experience the brand new
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, you'll need to either join a boarding group through the virtual queue or purchase the
Individual Lightning Lane entry since there is no standby queue. When you go to board this fun attraction, though, simply tell the Cast Members that you are using DAS, and they'll allow you to bypass the virtual queue line.
Thanks so much for bringing your question to us here at planDisney, Holly, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're thinking through the details of your visit. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
