Heather from UT Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have a trip coming up in November, and have seen that my question has been answered before last year and and 2 years ago. But things and policies change. Can you can still ship a Savi Lightsaber home from inside the park?

Bright suns, Heather! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

While my little padawans carried their newly built lightsabers home as carry-ons in May of this year, we ended up shipping a pair of bulky helmets home that we'd purchased while visiting Batuu. There was no way they were fitting in a suitcase, and shipping from the parks was a super convenient option. I'm happy to walk you through how to go about getting your blade from a more civilized age shipped home!

After you've completed the immersive ceremony at Savi's Workshop, take your lightsaber in its original carrying case along with your receipt to Black Spire Surplus, which is located nearby. Speak with a friendly Cast Member at the register about shipping your blade home. Since you're domestic, you should be okay to ship! It took a few days for our helmets to reach us in Missouri, but it extended the magic when they did arrive. There was a lot of rebel activity in our house as they were fully tested out!

If you want to get some photos with your lightsaber before it's shipped off, stop by one of the Disney PhotoPass locations in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. We waited until twilight, so my boys could really show them off in their photos. Find the closest talented photographer in the Disneyland mobile app by switching to "PhotoPass" at the top of the map.

May the Force be with you.
