Hi. I have a trip coming up next week and I saw somewhere where it said the buses were no longer running to Disney Springs. We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside and I wanted to make sure the boat was still ferrying people from there to Disney Springs.

Hey there, Katie! It's wonderful to have you visit with us about your upcoming visit.

Disney’s Port Orleans – Riverside is hands-down one of my all-time favorite resorts. The laid-back atmosphere, beautiful landscaping, and charming New Orleans-inspired theming make it such a peaceful and picturesque place to stay.

You can hop aboard a boat and sail down the scenic Sassagoula River straight to Disney Springs! This relaxing ride is available from Port Orleans – Riverside and French Quarter, as well as Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa and Disney's Old Key West Resort.

That said, it’s always a good idea to check the weather before making boat plans. If there’s lightning or heavy rain in the area, boat transportation may be paused for safety. And occasionally, buses may also be impacted due to weather or high demand, so it’s smart to give yourself a little extra time, just in case.

Katie, I hope you have the most magical time cruising down the Sassagoula River! While you're at it, make sure to swing by Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter. You have to treat yourself to some beignets. They're the perfect snack before or after a day of exploring. Enjoy every minute!

    Toodles,
