Hello, we have a trip coming up in March 2022. Wondering if the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks dessert party is worth the money? Can you see the fireworks well or is it just a place to sit and view from a distance. Lots of money involved.....

    Hi Linda!

Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney. I'm so glad you reached out with such a great question.

I'm so glad to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in March as you will be able to enjoy all that The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration has to offer! One of the most spectacular highlights of the celebration is the new nighttime fireworks spectacular, Disney Enchantment. You'll watch in awe as both Cinderella Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. come alive with color, light and music. I can say from experience, the show will absolutely blow you away!

It may surprise you to hear, but I usually skip the fireworks in favor of hitting a few more attractions while the crowds are enjoying the show. I also like to avoid the often necessary early arrival required to secure a decent view of the show. However, Disney Enchantment is just so magical that I would not want to miss it on my next visit! This is where the Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties come in handy as they allow you the opportunity to avoid the stress of arriving early to find a good spot to see the show.

Now, there are a few Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties options to choose from, but I would highly recommend booking the Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment After-Party. I say this because you can check-in at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant closer to show time, leaving you more time to enjoy Magic Kingdom. From there, a Cast Member will escort you to your reserved viewing area in the Plaza Garden. This area has a spectacular view of Cinderella Castle and is a prime spot to enjoy the show. After Disney Enchantment has wowed the crowd, you'll head back to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant to enjoy some delicious 50th Anniversary themed desserts and an assortment of beer and wine for those party Guests that are over 21.

Perhaps my favorite part of attending the Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment After-Party comes once the whole event is over. Since Magic Kingdom will have closed by the time the party wraps up, you can enjoy the experience of a nearly empty park as you stroll home to your Disney Resort hotel. You can even snap some amazing pictures in front of Cinderella Castle without crowds getting in the way of your shot! I promise you, this is an incredible experience you won't soon forget!

Linda, I highly recommend booking The Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment After-Party. In fact, I just gifted my parents tickets to the event for their upcoming visit, as I know it will be such a memorable experience for them to share! Please keep in mind that these events do sell out, so it would be best to make an advance reservation to avoid missing out on this Enchanting Extra!

I hope this answer has helped in making your decision! If you have any further questions about your upcoming visit, please send them our way! We would love to help you make the most of your Walt Disney World vacation.

    Have a magical day!
    Diana
