Hi there Anthony, and thanks so much for reaching out to planDisney! It sounds like you're getting ready for a magical vacation with your family at
Walt Disney World. Planning for a group can be exciting but sometimes a bit tricky when it comes to making sure everyone’s tickets and plans are linked just right. I’d be happy to help you navigate the My Disney Experience app so you can keep everything organized and enjoy every moment of your trip together.
If you're not seeing all of your family’s tickets in the
My Disney Experience app, but they do appear in your
Friends & Family list and are visible in another family member’s app, it usually means you don’t have full planning access for those guests. This can happen if someone else originally linked the tickets or is managing those profiles.
To fix this, go to your Family & Friends list in the app or on the Disney World website. Find the name of the person whose ticket you can't see. If it says that you manage all plans for them, you should be able to view their tickets. But if it says their plans are managed by someone else, or that they manage their own plans, you won’t be able to see their ticket details or make plans for them until access is shared.
In that case, ask the person who does have access, probably the one who can see the tickets in their app, to share planning with you. They can do this by going to their own Friends & Family list, clicking on the person’s name, and selecting the option to share planning with you. Once they do that, you’ll receive an email invitation to accept. After you accept it, the guest’s ticket and plans will show up in your app.
Make sure that each person either has their own Disney account or that you are managing their profile. If someone doesn’t have an account and someone else created their profile, that person controls all the plans unless they share access. The My Disney Experience website is often easier to navigate than the app for making these changes, especially when it comes to sharing plans or updating account connections.
If you’re still having issues or something seems wrong, like tickets being linked to the wrong people or duplicate profiles, it’s a good idea to call
Disney’s Guests Services. They can straighten everything out for you.
Once everything is linked properly, you’ll be able to see all tickets and make plans for your whole group without issues.
Anthony, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
