    Desiree from NV Asked

I have a trip coming up in December for Walt Disney World and we’re super excited. But due to some personal events we have to delay our trip by a day. Can I cancel one of my reservation and book it for a later day that same week we’re going?

    Hey Desiree!

A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for visiting planDisney with your wondEARful question about Disney Park Pass theme park reservations. Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Desiree, yes, if you need to cancel a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation and make one for a later date, you can do so! You can also modify your existing reservation instead of canceling it.

First, please verify that the date you want to visit is available by visiting the theme park reservation availability calendar. Then, please visit the “My Plans” section of your My Disney Experience account, click on the theme park reservation you wish to modify, and select “modify my reservation”. Please follow the on-screen prompts to complete your request. If you do not see a “modify my reservation” link but you see one that says “cancel my reservation”, please click on that link to cancel your theme park reservation. Then, please remember to make a new theme park reservation as soon as possible.

Desiree, I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any other questions, please visit planDisney again. We are all EARS!

    Wishing you a Magical Vacation,

    Priscila
