Hi moms we have a trip coming in December and don't really like to wear anything on my wrist and was wondering if it would be acceptable to wear my magic band on a lanyard and would it work

    Hi Leon,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am very excited to hear you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this December. That is such a beautiful time to visit and I am sure your trip will be here before you know it.

You can definitely wear your MagicBand on a lanyard. I sometimes keep mine in my pocket, on my belt loop, around my purse strap, or anywhere else that is easily accessible. In fact, just last month Disney came out with MagicBand Keepers for those who prefer not to wear them. These stuffed items have a spot to secure your MagicBand and a clip on the other end to connect the Keeper where ever you may like. They then have an expanding and retractable cord in order to easily use the MagicBand at the various touch points in the parks or at your resort. MagicBand Keepers are available for purchase throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

Have a wonderful vacation, Leon. Please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
