Hi - we have a trip booked starting 12/24. I have downloaded the Disneyland app and have our park passes on there and a couple of reservations for dinner/boutique as well. My husband just created a profile in his app. How can I link our apps together?

To all who come to planDisney, welcome. Elaine, we're so glad you found our magical corner of the internet to ask this question. Woohoo! A very merry and magical trip to the Disneyland Resort is in your very near future and I'm thrilled to help you prepare.

It sounds like you are well on your way to having a most magical adventure during your time at the Disneyland Resort. I'm so glad to hear that you and your husband have already downloaded the Disneyland app. It's such a helpful tool that I always use to help maximize my visits. While there, unfortunately, isn't a way to link accounts, you most certainly can link tickets and share hotel reservations with others.

Doing this is easier than saying, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" (even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious). Open the app and tap the "☰" to open the menu, followed by tapping the "My Tickets & Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" in the upper right and then "Link Tickets & Passes." On the next screen, you can use the "Camera" feature to have your husband scan the barcode of both of your tickets to add them to his app. For Disneyland Resort hotel reservations, open the menu, scroll down and tap "Hotel Reservations" and then "Link Another Reservation." Your husband can type in the hotel confirmation number to have this added to his account and app. When it comes to dining reservations, sadly these currently can only be linked to one account.

The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are in full swing and there are so many festive experiences to enjoy. I made a quick visit recently and thoroughly enjoyed eating my way through the Festive Foods Marketplace at Disney Festival of Holidays. My favorite treat so far has been the Sticky Toffee Pudding Macaron from the Favorite Things booth. It's a wonderfully sweet treat and perfect to share with someone.

Elaine, I hope this is helpful as you are counting down the days until your very merry and magical adventure. Please come back to share any other questions that you might be curious about. Here's wishing you continued happy planning and a holly jolly visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
