Hey there, Lylian. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. We're so glad you're here. I'm so excited for you to visit the Disneyland Resort and am delighted to help as you plan.
A valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation are both required for entrance into both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days prior to your arrival. I just checked the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and saw reservations open for your planned visit. It may have been just a tad early when you were looking to book your reservation. I don't blame you and can definitely relate to the excitement and desire to get your magical plans in place.
If you haven't already, head back to the Disneyland site to
make your theme park reservation. Once you're all set you can start thinking about what to do during your visit and (my favorite) what to eat.
Advance dining reservations for select table service locations can be made up to 60 days in advance. One of my favorite spots is the
Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure Park. It's fun to dine right on Pixar Pier and I always like to get an order of the donuts.
Speaking of Pixar Pier, right next door is Pacific Wharf which will be transformed into
San Fransokyo Square this summer, from "Big Hero 6." I'm super excited about this reimagining and can't wait to visit once it opens. I hope it will be open in time for you to experience during your visit. And of course, I can't forget to mention that Baymax makes a magnificent appearance during
Wondrous Journeys, one of the new nighttime spectaculars that made its debut as part of the
Disney100 Celebration.
Lylian, I hope this has been helpful as you plan your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please come back to visit us with any other questions that come to mind.
Have a magical day!
Michelle
