I have a trip booked, being from Perth Western Australia I don't know a lot about the weather there. Can you give me some idea? How busy is it in September seeing as school would have just gone back for you guys. Thanks...excited!

    Hi Tanya

I'm so excited to hear you will be visiting Walt Disney World all the way from Australia. What a fun adventure!

The average temperatures in Orlando during September are a high of 89 degrees and a low of 72 degrees. The weather in Central Florida, however, can be a little unpredictable at times so you may want to check the weather forecast closer to your travel dates. As unpredictable as the weather is, the size of the crowds at any given time of the year are just as difficult to predict. School holidays (including summer vacation) can sometimes mean larger crowds so September is usually a great time to visit Walt Disney World. Another plus of visiting at that time of year is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You will absolutely love this extra special celebration!

Thanks so much for coming to see us here at the Disney Parks Mom's Panel. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation. Have a wonderful day!
