Hello. We have a trip booked for Oct. we come from Canada and we would like to move our trip to Oct 2021. Are we able to get a refund for our tickets we have already purchased and modify our reservations for Fort Wilderness?

Hey there, Samantha! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

These are unprecedented times, and you are most definitely not the only person I’ve come across from Canada and many other locations that is needing to make changes to upcoming vacation plans. Walt Disney World understands that these changes are unavoidable for many, and as such is committed to helping Guests make all modifications needed to ensure a safe, enjoyable vacation for themselves and their loved ones.

All current closure-related cancellation policies and fees are outlined on the Experience Updates page. At this time, Disney-imposed cancellation fees are waived for stays with arrivals up to October 3, 2020. Normally, Disney Vacation Packages can be canceled without any penalty up until 30 days before the start of your vacation. You can find the standard cancellation policies outlined on the Terms and Conditions Page

Regarding the Tickets you already have, they have been automatically been extended through 9/26/2021 or may be modified or canceled by calling the Disney Reservation Center at (407) W-DISNEY or (407) 934-7639 beginning June 22, or by contacting your travel professional. These policies are also outlined on the ParkExperience Updates page. Resort Reservations can be modified at this time by also contacting the Reservation line via the phone numbers above.

Also, as of June 28, 2020, it is now possible to reserve new 2021 Walt Disney World Resort Hotel packages and purchase Theme Park Tickets, so you can start dreaming and planning for your next visit right away! Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is an amazing vacation destination! I hope that you will have a chance to experience it very soon. Samantha, I hope that this information gives you peace of mind and helps you modify your plans to meet your needs.
