Our trip is booked for Jan, and our dining reservations are made. I know I can't get a dining plan for my 2 year old as he does not need a ticket. We have 2 family style meals planned, Ohana and The Garden Grill. As it's not a buffet do we pay for him?

Hi, Kim!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Places that are served "family style" are in buffet category and you wont need to pay for your son out of pocket.  He is more than welcome to enjoy the dinner just like the rest of the family.  I do know that at 'Ohana, my favorite place to eat, there are other options he can choose from if he doesn't find anything he likes.  My daughter loves the food there but they have offered her a hot dog or chicken tenders and fries if she would rather.

I hope this helps!  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
