Trip booked for Feb 11-17, 2011. We are on the Deluxe Dining Plan and Staying at a WDW resort. What are your ideas on a basic itinerary and Dining Rervations? Family of 6, DD's ages 5 & almost 3, mom, dad, grandma and grandpa.

Hi Terry! Awesome name you got there :-)

The Deluxe Dining Plan offers a wealth of eating, so be sure to bring your appetite...

Here are a few of our favorite dining places still on the Dining Plan:

Chef Mickey's (Contemporary)-Great Family fun; character dining; good food. Get up and close with the Fab Five of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto.

California Grill (Contemporary)-sort of pricey; but one of the preeminent places in term of gourmet food. Very good dishes here...

Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge)-fun experience, good home-style food. Definitely ask for a bottle of ketchup, even if you don't need it.

Cape May (Yacht Club)-surf and turf at its best. Buffet. Delish!

Coral Reef (Epcot)-Seafood; good ambiance. Try to get a seat close to the massive aquarium.

50's Prime Time Cafe (Hollywood Studios)-Staff there are great, and play the role of "Mom" to a tee. Nice, retro feel. Definitely should try the floats and punches they offer.

Mama Melrose (Hollywood Studios)-good Italian food.

So, you can't go wrong making reservations at any of these. Too bad some have come off the Plan (such as Maya Grill at Coronado Springs), there are a few others that would certainly qualify.

    Good Luck!
