Peter from OR Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We have a trip booked for the end of July. I've purchased tickets and reserved the date of our visit. What is the process for virtual queuing for attractions such as Rise of the Resistance? (Is that something I can only do when we're in the park?)

    Bright Suns Peter!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Are you ready to live your own Star Wars Adventure? A trip to the Happiest Place on Earth would not be complete without an interplanetary journey to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! Dok-Ondar awaits to show you his rare and unique artifacts. You may end up taking something home with you! But before you do that, head over to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run where you and your crew can pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy, no experience necessary!

In Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you’ll join the Resistance in an epic battle against the First Order. As you mentioned, you will need to join the virtual queue in order to experience this attraction. You’ll need to make sure you have the latest version of the Disneyland Mobile App installed on your smart phone. Distribution times to enroll in the virtual queue are at 7:00am and 12:00pm each day. You do not need to be in a theme park if you try at 7:00am but you must be scanned into a park if you attempt at the 12:00pm time slot.

On the app, select the three lines on the lower right hand corner. You will then select Virtual Queues. Click Join Boarding Group and then it will give you a choice of attractions and the next available time to join the virtual queue.

Well Peter, I hope you found this information and you’ll be battling the First Order in no time!

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
