Greetings, Karen and welcome to planDisney where we love to help guests plan Magical vacations.
Karen, how exciting that you'll be visiting
the Most Magical Place on Earth later this year. My husband and I have a July trip on the horizon and I'm already counting down the days!
Now, Karen, let's talk about your visit. I'm sorry that you're not seeing the details listed. While there is a possibility that a Disney villain has infiltrated the system, let's see if we can find some pixie dust and get it straightened out together!
If you have booked a vacation package (
Disney Resort Hotel stay and tickets bundled together), you should have received a confirmation number when you paid your deposit (or trip balance). To link your trip, log into your
My Disney Experience Account and hover over "My Disney Experience" until you see, "My Plans." When you click on "My Plans," you'll be taken to a screen with multiple blue circles. Hover over "Resort Hotel," and click on "Link a Reservation." Here you can input your confirmation number. If you did not see a confirmation number when you booked, I would encourage you to check the email associated with your My Disney Experience account.
Karen, if you have booked tickets separately from a vacation package, when you get to the "My Plans," screen, you'll input your ticket confirmation number by first hovering over the blue circle labeled "Park Tickets" and then click on "Link Tickets."
If you don't have a confirmation number from your booking or in your email, make sure to double-check that your My Disney Experience account is connected to your correct email address.
(I speak from experience as I made the mistake in years past of adding in one extra letter to my email address when setting up my account rendering it useless.)
Karen, if you are using the My Disney Experience Mobile App, you can link a reservation by first clicking on the three horizontal bars at the bottom right of the home screen. You'll then click on the tile labeled, "Future Plans." Anything already linked will show up on that screen, but when you scroll to the bottom, you'll see the option to link a missing reservation.
Karen, I'll be wishing on a star that you're able to quickly connect your plans. However, if all else fails, I encourage you to
call in and speak directly with a Cast Member who can view your account. There are times of the day when you might need to wait on hold for a bit to chat with someone, so I recommend calling when you can put your phone on speaker and work or relax around your house while you wait.
Once you have your trip successfully linked, I hope you'll come on back with any additional questions you might have. We love to help guide guests to our favorite park attractions, answer questions about
dining around the Walt Disney World Resort, and everything in between.
As my pal Mickey would say, "see ya real soon!"
Lauren
