    We have a trip booked for Dinner World in August postponed from 2020 and I understand that we can no longer pre order our Magic bands if we are in the UK. If we buy them once we arrive do we still get the resort discount?

    As the current UK-based Panelist here at planDisney, I'm so incredibly happy that you've stopped by with such a tiggerific question for us to help you with today.

    Thank you for sharing that your jolly holiday at Walt Disney World Resort is literally right around the river bend in only a few short days time on August 15th.  Oh boy Jacqueline, you and your whole family must be feeling over the moon excited that your postponed Disney holiday from 2020, is finally almost HERE!

    There's truly no better feeling than marking off those last few days until Disney on your calendar, and doing the single-digit-Disney-dance around your kitchen - or maybe that's just me?!

    Jacqueline, it's true to say that at present, Guests like you and I who access the UK-based Walt Disney Travel Company website are not currently offered the option to order pre-arrival MagicBands.

    Although I'm not currently aware of any Resort discounts on offer, I am more than happy to share that Guests are more than welcome to choose to purchase MagicBands or indeed the all-new MagicBand+ designs from almost any merchandise location on Disney property.  I assure you that you'll be able to discover a pixie-dusted plethora of MagicBands and MagicBand+ designs to choose from!

    Lastly, I thought you may find this recent Disney Parks Blog article concerning the all-new MagicBand+ (which actually only launched a few days ago on July 27th, 2022) to be a really useful planning resource for your upcoming holiday. 

    I hope I've been able to provide a little bibbidi-bobbidi-boo insight for you today Jacqueline.  Now, all that remains is for me to wish you an extra magical upcoming summer holiday at Walt Disney World Resort.
