    Hi. Trip booked for the beginning of May ! What is the difference between photo pass and photo pass+ ? If I have no character dining experiences planned is it worth the difference ? Does the pass+ include the gallery CD or will I still have to add it on ?

    Howdy Stephen!!  Great questions!!  To be concise, the difference between the PhotoCD and PhotoPass + is $30.  

    Let me highlight the differences in the two options so you will have all of the information regarding Disney's PhotoPass Service special offers.
    With Disney’s PhotoCD, you enjoy unlimited PhotoPass photos in your account, the ability to customize your photos with fun Disney borders and Magic Shot photos.  Currently, the PhotoCD is being offered for pre-purchase for $119.95.

    With PhotoPass+, you enjoy the same items on the PhotoCD as well as photos from select dining locations, photos from select attractions, photos from other Disney experiences and your Disney PhotoPass+ card for Photographers to recognize.

    Do you ride any of the attractions where photos are taken and can be purchased following the ride (i.e. Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin or Test Track)?  In the past, we would skip right past the photos.   After making PhotoPass+ a must have for our trips, I have enjoyed every bit of the attraction photos and have wondered what I have missed out on in the past.

    All of the above being stated, if you don't think you will be riding on anything that will give you the added value of a picture, the standard PhotoCD might be the best fit for you.  Regardless of the selection you make, I'm so glad you are considering purchasing one!  Be sure to place your order prior to your vacation to take advantage of the special pricing.
