    We have a trip booked in April and plan to hit AK park once we check in on our first day. We are doing the Disney Dining Plan - would our dining credits start that day we check in? I booked Tusker House ROL dinner package and want to make sure we can use

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love answering questions from fellow North Carolinians. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is will be here before you know it. I think it's important to make sure all of your i's are dotted and your t's are crossed before your vacation begins so I'm glad you're verifying when you can begin using your Disney Dining Plan.

    I love the convenience Disney Dining Plans offer. It's so nice to know your meal costs are covered before you set foot on property. Disney Dining Plans are based on how many nights you are staying in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. The good news for you is your Disney Dining Plan will become active when you check-in to your resort. If you do Online Check-in then your dining credits should be active when you arrive. 

    This means you will be able to use your dining plan credits for the Rivers of Light: We Are One Dining Package at Tusker House Restaurant. Tusker House Restaurant is a family favorite so I try to schedule a meal there during each vacation. We love the variety of delicious foods and the interaction with the characters. I also love Rivers of Light: We Are One. I think it's such a beautiful, peaceful show. It's the perfect way to end a day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.
