Hi, Our trip is on the 28th. we have a 1 bedroom villa for 4 people, but now were wondering if we want our own bedroom so we don;t have to sleep on the pull out couch. is it possible to try and get a separate room when we get there? and pay the extra $

Hi Lauren! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your party size will fit comfortably in 1-bedroom Disney Vacation Club villa, but it sounds like you might be happier getting your own studio villa. If that's the case you'll definitely want to arrange this with member services right way to make sure there is availability at your Walt Disney World Resort BEFORE you arrive.

The good news is Disney Vacation Club studio and 1-bedroom villas are close to each other. In fact, in some cases they are right next to each other and "connect" for a 2-bedroom lock-off configuration. With a 2-bedroom lock-off villa you'll get 2 very separate quarters and you can choose to keep the connecting door open or closed for privacy. Whether you choose a standard 2-bedroom or a 2-bedroom lock-off villa, it's the most economical option, as you'll use less vacation points for a 2- bedroom villa versus booking two 1-bedroom reservations.

I hope I've given you some helpful options to consider and I wish you a magical and memorable Disney!
