trip 6/2013. arriving on 6/14/2013. going to epcot the first day and have dinner reservations at biergarten at 6:30pm. have looked at menu and trying to find our what type of foods that they have on the buffet for kids?

    Hi Kristin,

Biergarten is a great dining experience for the whole family.

We've been there with children as young as 2 and always had an enjoyable meal. You can expect to find standard "kid fare" on the buffet, such as mac and cheese, chicken tenders and hot dogs.

But buffets are a good opportunity to encourage children to look beyond mac and cheese. My girls have always liked being able to take a small taste of something new without worrying about wasting an entire dish if they don't like it.

Many of the items at Biergarten will be familiar: rotisserie chicken, salmon, salad bar, roasted potatoes, roast pork. Others may be a little out of the norm, such as different kinds of sausages and frankfurters, potato dumplings, pork sauerbraten, and frikadellen meat patties (a sort of mini meatloaf patty).

    Don't miss the pretzel rolls!

Food isn't the only star at Biergarten. The Oktoberfest entertainment is lively and fun. What kid doesn't like a good chicken dance?

I hope you have a wonderful meal and a memorable vacation with your family. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Enjoy!
