    1st trip, arrive 6/11, appx 4pm ,Yacht Club for 7 nights. Ideas for night #1 dining,etc? We plan to hit the MK bright & early 6/12, starting with Cape May brkfst. I have ADR for other nights, but could use help easing into the trip w/9 yr. son. Thk

    Hi Angela!  We often stay at the Yacht Club resort and what we do for the first night is stay close to "home".  You have several options but our favorite is the Yachtsman Steakhouse right in the resort.  It has wonderful food and a nice relaxed atmosphere. If you are not able to get a reservation for this location then a more casual spot is the Captain's Grill which is just off the lobby of the Yacht Club resort.  I find this my own little secret sometimes and many Disney cast come here for business lunch meetings and dinner as it is not among the hustle and bustle of so many other restaurants.

    Other nearby places that are good are Flying Fish Cafe in the Boardwalk area, Cape May Cafe which features a New England Clam Bake buffet for dinner, and some great spots but a little further away at the Swan and Dolphin hotels.
