The trip is almost here and I'm thinking of things that I need. We are going Nov 20 to 27. I've been asking people about strollers and if I should rent one bc my child is 5 yr old. Should I or shouldn't I - that is the question.

    Johnna:

I just returned from Disney and my youngest turned five!  It was our first trip without a stroller!

I have to say I panicked the first day we went to the Magic Kingdom: could he make it?!  Well, he did, until the bus stop....and then my poor husband had to carry him from the bus stop up the room....

If I had to do it again, I'd pack an umbrella stroller, just as a backup, because a single rental stroller is around $15 a day and you can buy one cheaper.  If your son doesn't make it the first day in the parks, you know you'll have it like a trusty favorite blanket!  If you don't use it, it won't take up much space.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
    Whitney

p.s. You didn't mention if you were staying at a Value, Moderate or Deluxe hotel.  If you're staying at one of the Values or Moderates, I would highly recommend one, as those hotel campuses are vast.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
