Dear Richard, thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. My dad has diabetes, my daughter is allergic to tree nuts, and I am vegetarian, so I understand the need to do some research on dining options before your arrival. You came to the right place!
I love that
Disneyland Resort is so deeply committed to making
Guests with dietary restrictions or preferences feel comfortable and included. You will have lots of options to enjoy delicious meals!
Menus are available online for most Table Service and Quick Service restaurants, if you’d like to browse menus in advance.
The Table Service menus online mention you can request an allergy-friendly menu upon arrival. Personally I have eaten at River Belle Terrace, Lamplight Lounge and Wine Country Trattoria recently and requested allergy-friendly menus at all, but really ANY Table Service restaurant is going to do their best to accommodate your request. Also, when making a dining reservation online, you can note that you’re looking for gluten free options and your server will be happy to give you more information upon arrival. You can even ask to speak with the chef directly and ask any questions!
I browsed the Quick Service menus online and these have the most extensive gluten allergy-friendly options for you:
Disney California Adventure Park:
-
Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill has many choices (one of my favorites – the Dorados de Papa Street Tacos!)
Disneyland Park:
-
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo has an Endorian Roasted Chicken Salad
-
French Market Restaurant has multiple options, including Herb-roasted Chicken or Jambalaya
-
Jolly Holiday Bakery Café has a few options, including my favorite Jolly Holiday Combo (the ultimate comfort food!)
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
-
GCH Craftsman Grill has options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You don’t need to be a hotel Guest to dine here. They have several grab-n-go options too. If you're at Disney California Adventure Park, you can easily enter the hotel from the park, close to Grizzly River Run.
For all the Quick Service restaurants I mentioned above, you can use
mobile ordering from the
Disneyland mobile app! But, if you prefer to ask any questions at time of ordering, you can order in person too.
I want to mention that you can bring your own food inside the parks, in case you'd like to have a few snacks on hand.
I hope this information is helpful, Richard. Have a magical visit and Bon Appetit!
