We are tring to determine which meal plan. We would like to have at least one character dining experiece. Is there a particular meal plan that would be recommened for this or would it be better to purchase the character dining experiece separately?

Hi, Lisa, If you go with the basic Disney Dining Plan, each guest in your party will receive one table service/buffet meal, one quick service meal, and one snack per night of your stay.   It really comes out to be quite a bit of food!    Many of the popular Character Dining Experiences count as just one table service credit (Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast, Crystal Palace, and many more.)   If you add on this dining plan, you can use your credits for these Character Meals.   So with this plan, you could have a Character Meal everyday of your stay (just make sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations as these locations fill up quick!)

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
