we are tring to decide if we want to stay at the treehouses or the villas at the beach club what are the pros and cons of each

    Hi Susan,

My boys and I have stayed at the Tree House Villas at Saratoga Springs Resort twice, along with my parents and at the Beach Club Villas many times.  Both are wonderful, spacious accommodations, and fabulous places to call "home" while on a Walt Disney World Vacation.  However, they are very different.  The Beach Club Villas are, in my opinion, in a better overall location in the Epcot Resort Area.  By staying here, you will be able to walk and/or take a quick ferry boat ride to either Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios.  In addition, there are tons of fabulous dining options at the Yacht and Beach Club, Disney's BoardWalk and the Swan and Dolphin Resorts, making it a fabulous choice if  you plan to dine out a lot.  The Beach Club has my absolute favorite pool on property, Stormalong Bay.  It's like a mini-water park, and generally extremely popular with guests.  The accommodations are gorgeous, and the resort is truly a deluxe property. The Tree House Villas are large, spacious accommodations and incredibly "cool!"  My kids LOVED staying here.  The views from your octagonal tree-top suite are amazing, and will make you feel like you've escaped to the woods.  The Villas have their own pool area, however, you are welcome to use the main pool area and amenities at Saratoga Springs Resort's main property.  If you have your own car, you can drive there, or take an internal shuttle.  From the main property, you will be able to take a ferry to Downtown Disney and all the dining and entertainment the area has to offer.

If you've never stayed at either resort, I would vote for the Beach Club Villas because of their incredible location.  If you have stayed at the Beach Club in the past, I suggest giving the Tree Top Villas a chance!
