I am tring to book the family suite Disney's All-Star MR. We are 6 adult, and 2 kids ( ages 2&4) . but i cant b/c it says "party size exceeds max room occupancy". Do i have to add the kids or can i just put 6 ppl. We are on a budget.

    Hi Estrella,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have stayed in a Family Suite at Disney's All Star Music Resort and loved it. Unfortunately, your group does exceed the maximum occupancy for a Family Suite. You do want to have your entire travel party on your reservation for several reasons. The first and most important reason is that it's required. There are other reasons, but they all involve being able to take advantage of the benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Every person, even the children, will need to have a resort ID (currently MagicBands serve as resort IDs) to take advantage of any of the benefits.

Considering that your family is on a budget, you might look into booking two rooms at a Value Resort. Sometimes it even works out to be cheaper than a Family Suite.

Wishing you happy planning and a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
