I have tried several times to make reservations to T-Rex in May 2013. We are within the 180 day period. We have the dining program but are unable to get reservations to this restaurant. What is the problem?

    Hi, Diane!

We've been in the same situation from time to time, but you are calling so early out that I wouldn't worry.

You have a few options. First, I would call Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE and ask the Cast Member who is assisting you to offer you advice. I've found lots of insight from Cast Members at Disney Dining regarding booking trends, windows that should be open (but aren't) strategies for catching that elusive reservation.

What I've also learned is that several restaurants at Downtown Disney set aside many tables for their Dining Plan Guests. However, there are sometimes plenty of additional tables available and can be reserved by calling the DD restaurant directly. Call T-REX Cafe directly at A Prehistoric Family Adventure, at (407) 828-8739 to see if the reservation you are looking for is available that way. Once you arrive, you'll be able to pay for your meal using your Dining Plan, regardless of how you made your reservations. :-)

Hope that helps, Diane! Send more questions as you think of them...we love to help!
