I tried to make reservations online for already purchased 5 tickets for Disneyland Park and it shows “unable to make theme park reservations” for all 5 tickets. What can I do? Thanks

Hiya, Connie, and welcome to planDisney! Your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner next month, and I just know Mickey Mouse is so excited for your arrival!

It sounds like you're in a bit of a ticket predicament trying to make those theme park reservations, but don't you worry! Like Buzz Lightyear, I’m here to help you go "to infinity and beyond" to solve this. There are a few reasons why you might be encountering this error message, so let's explore them together.

First things first, if you purchased your tickets directly through the official Disneyland website, it's very possible you already booked your theme park reservations during the checkout process. To check if you already have an existing reservation for these tickets, simply visit the theme park reservations page and select "Make or Modify Park Reservations". If your reservations are already confirmed, they'll magically appear in the "Upcoming Theme Park Reservations" section further down the page. You can also get to this page through the Disneyland mobile app by tapping the plus (+) sign in the bottom menu, then selecting "Make A Park Reservation”.

If those reservations aren't showing up there, it's possible that the day you've selected isn't available for your specific ticket. Each ticket has an assigned tier level, and the higher the tier, the fewer the blockout dates and restrictions. You can find more information about eligible dates and ticket tiers on this helpful FAQ page.

Lastly, we've seen this happen with some special offer tickets. For example, if your tickets were part of a special promotion like the Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer, those are valid through August 14, 2025. Since you're planning on visiting in late August, a ticket purchased through this specific special offer would unfortunately not be valid for your dates.

If you've checked all of these avenues, Connie, and you're still not able to make your theme park reservations, don't let it get you down! Your next best bet is to pick up the phone and call the friendly Cast Members at the Disneyland tickets hotline. They're like the Fairy Godparents of ticketing and will be more than happy to help you sort everything out, whether it's confirming an existing reservation or even exploring options to upgrade your ticket to a higher tier if that's what's preventing your reservation.

And trust me, Connie, you will want to get those reservations booked as soon as possible! You'll be arriving just in time to experience the magic of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration! This special event kicked off in May and continues through at least the summer of 2026. I’m so excited you’ll be there to celebrate seven decades of The Happiest Place on Earth! With dazzling new entertainment (and returning favorites, like the Paint the Night parade), festive decorations, delicious treats, and so much more, it's truly a once-in-a-lifetime celebration you won't want to miss!

I hope this helps you get those reservations locked in so you can enjoy every magical moment of your Disneyland adventure, Connie! If you have any more questions as your trip gets closer, please feel free to visit us again here at planDisney! We're all ears!
