Hey there, Christopher! Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question.
I recently had the opportunity to dine at
Space 220 and let me tell you - it's an out-of-this-world experience! I'm really sorry to see that you weren't able to secure an advanced dining reservation... yet! Be sure to keep checking back. Reservations do open up, I've had good luck securing things last minute. So keep trying!
Currently, Christopher, the bar area is operating on a first-come, first-serve walk-up list. You are able to join that list in person when you are ready to grab an atmospheric spirit. However, unlike some other bars at Walt Disney World, the Space 220 bar is being reserved for only 21 and over at this time. As long as there are no little ones with you, you'll be able to head up 220 miles above Epcot and enjoy a cocktail.
Another idea that I have for you is to try to make a reservation for the
Lounge at Space 220. Traditionally, lounges at Walt Disney World are walk-up but this one has been so popular that they are starting to take online reservations for it. Unlike the bar area, children are allowed to dine and enjoy this lounge area making it perfect for families. I've heard good things about people being able to secure a reservation this way. I actually prefer the lounge area. There, you are able to order off of the flight-bite menu (appetizers) or take part in the prix fixe meal if you prefer. I really enjoy the appetizers and cocktails at Space 220 so this is the perfect solution for me.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions as you plan your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and enjoy!
