Hi Sunghwan! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
I’m sorry to hear about your flight cancelation. This has been an unfortunate reality for many Guests that are flying to the
Walt Disney World Resort lately. I wish we could enlist some Disney magic to get you here in time, but nevertheless, Walt Disney World will still be here when you can arrive!
I have good news for you! You will be able to still use your
Park Hopper Tickets when you arrive onsite. I suggest logging on to your
My Disney Experience account now and scrolling down until you find “My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets”. Select “Tickets & Memory Maker” and you should then see an option to “Change Ticket”. If you know the new date you plan on using this ticket, simply make this change here. If there is a difference in cost, you will then be prompted for payment. Don’t worry if you are unsure of when you will visit again since the value of your ticket will not expire. You’ll be able to use this value toward the purchase of a future ticket!
You can also access your account and make changes using the
My Disney Experience App on your mobile device. Log on and select the three horizontal bars on the bottom right of your screen. Select "Tickets and Passes" to view your existing Park Hopper Tickets. Again, you should see a "Change Ticket" option to select and follow the same prompts as you would on the website. Once you make these changes to your tickets, you will be able to then make your new
park reservations for the days you plan to visit the parks. You can do so by logging back into your My Disney Experience account and selecting "Park Reservations".
When you do arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, there are countless new experiences to explore! With the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration underway, there have been many ways to help commemorate this event while onsite. Be on the lookout for the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection golden statues that can be found across all four theme parks! They make for the perfect backdrop for photos and can even be made into a scavenger hunt trying to find each one!
Sunghwan, I know this is not the magical way you intended your trip to begin. But remember, Walt Disney World is known for the pixie dust and magic that it produces. I have a feeling that when you do arrive, you are in for a magical stay!
See ya real soon!
