Hello Megan!
Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to discuss your January getaway to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd be delighted to assist you!
I'm so excited for you! A
Fireworks Cruise is my absolute favorite activity in the
Enchanted Extras Collection. There is nothing like a guided tour of one of Walt Disney World's waterways followed by a spectacular, uncrowded fireworks view.
Your pontoon boat can accommodate up to 10 Guests, but the online reservation system currently only allows you to name one. I recommend
calling the tours and recreation line and adding your crewmates to the reservation so your Cast Member captain will have an accurate count of those embarking on the journey. This way, your boat will be adequately equipped with the correct number of life jackets, snacks, and beverages for your excursion.
If you don't have the opportunity to do this ahead of time, Hakuna Matata! No worries! In the past, I've received a call from a Cast Member confirming our details one or two days before a scheduled Fireworks Cruise. This gives you another chance to speak with someone about the number in your party and ask any questions about the event.
I hope this helps, Megan. My family and I have taken several fireworks cruises, so I'd love to share a few quick tips for making the most of your sailing.
*Your adventure will take place rain or shine, so if showers are predicted, pack some ponchos!
*Speaking of weather, the air can be chilly on the lagoon, so bring sweatshirts or jackets to stay comfortable.
*If you don't eat all of your complimentary goodies, you can take them with you. My kids enjoy snacking on Mickey Mouse-shaped crisped rice treats for days after a cruise!
Best wishes for an enchanting winter escape and a memorable cruise experience. Thanks for reaching out to planDisney; we look forward to welcoming you "home" soon!
Happy holidays,
Betsy
