Annabelle, welcome to planDisney!
There's nothing quite like planning a trip to Walt Disney World. It's all part of the magic, in my opinion. With the 50th Anniversary Celebration happening right now, there's plenty of EARidescent excitement to dream about.
In planning a Disney vacation, you've made a good decision to stop by planDisney. My planDisney friends and I love helping fellow Guests maximize the magic of their next adventure. Now, unfortunately, Annabelle, Disney no longer sends out physical vacation planning material (such as DVDs, brochures, etc). This is largely due to their commitment to reducing waste and caring for the environment. However, there is a wealth of digital content available online. Let me highlight some helpful resources for you:
planDisneySometimes the best thing to do is hear from fellow Guests! My family is planning an upcoming trip to Disneyland and I frequently come on the planDisney website to learn helpful tips and tricks from my fellow panelists. They really do know their stuff! On the planDisney website, you'll find expert advice on a variety of Disney vacation topics. You can also find
informative videos (who needs a DVD, right?), helpful
Pocket Guides to the Disney Resorts, and a plethora of
panelist recommendations. You can also follow us on
Instagram and check out our planDisney podcast.
Walt Disney World Website
The Walt Disney World website has loads of information for
planning a vacation. You'll find info about the immersive
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, the fantastic
dining options, and the magical
Theme Parks and destinations. You can even look at the most up-to-date Theme Park maps for
Magic Kingdom Park,
Disney's Hollywood Studios,
EPCOT, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. A separate Disney-owned website,
Disney Parks Blog, is also a great place to frequent. I visit Disney Parks Blog every week to keep up to date with what's happening in the Disney parks around the world.
Disney+
If you have a subscription to Disney+, then you can learn a ton about the Theme Parks on shows like "Behind the Attraction," "The Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom," and my personal favorite, "The Imagineering Story" (which I'm currently watching for the second time!).
Hopefully, those resources will keep you delightfully busy and help you plan an enchanting trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
ChEARS,
Mike
