Hi Laura!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. I can see that you are planning to visit the parks in just a few days and are hoping to purchase and use the California Resident Ticket Offer. This offer is so special, and a great way for your family to make some magical memories with three full park days to use between January 1 - May 21, 2026!
I'm happy to help you today, but also understand that we are in a bit of a time crunch to get you to the magic by Friday! Reading through the California Resident Ticket details, you should be able to purchase up to 5 of these special tickets per day, so it is definitely curious why the system is giving you that error message when you are trying to purchase only 4. I just tried to do a test purchase myself and was able to get all the way to the final step of the checkout process with four tickets in my cart. Let's try to troubleshoot this for you.
One idea that comes to mind is that you may already have tickets sitting in your cart, especially if you have tried to purchase them a few times, and the system thinks you are trying to add more than the maximum of 5. Let's start fresh. Close out of the Disneyland website and quit your internet browser, and then open it back up again. When you head to the Disneyland website, along the top navigation bar, tap the "My Cart" tab, check to see if you already have some tickets in there, and try to check out from there. If that doesn't work, I'd recommend clearing out your cookies and cache for the Disneyland website and trying again or switching browsers entirely. I'm hopeful we've resolved it for you, but if not, now would be a great time to call the Guest Services team - either for Tickets or Website Support - directly. They are able to see into your account and can help you get those tickets purchased!
Once you have those tickets in hand and are heading to the parks, I just wanted to share a friendly reminder that any Guests 18+ will be required to show a valid government-issued photo ID reflecting an address within the eligible ZIP codes (90000 - 96199). Typically, this would be a driver's license or CA State ID.
Laura, I'm hopeful we've cleared a path for you and your family to the Happiest Place on Earth! With your California Resident Tickets, you will be able to spread the magic out from January through May 21, 2026, and there is so much to see and do. On top of the 70th Anniversary, you could take advantage of the Lunar New Year Celebration as well as the Food & Wine Festival. If you have Bluey fans in your family, this lovable pup hits the parks on March 22nd!
I'm wishing you magic in 2026! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.
See ya real soon!
Tara
