Bright Suns Anna! We appreciate you stopping by planDisney with your reservation question as you are preparing to visit a planet far, far, away.
I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to get reservations for
Oga's Cantina. This local watering hole is quite popular and I have heard it is quite difficult to get reservations in advance. While reservations do generally seem to release 60 days in advance, I have heard that lately, some have been trickling out a few days after that.
I do have a few suggestions that may strengthen the force and help you secure your reservations. The first suggestion would be to have hope and keep checking for
reservations. The system updates as reservations are secured and as they are canceled. I would keep a watchful eye, especially in the day or two before your arrival, as this is when most reservations are canceled to avoid a no-show fee.
If you arrive on Batuu and still have not secured a reservation you are not hopeless. In the Disneyland app, you can
join the mobile walk-up list by walking near the entrance of Oga's Cantina, using the search feature in the app to look up Oga's Cantina, and then joining the list on that page. If it alerts you that the walk-up list is at capacity, simply ask a nearby Cast Member if they are taking Guests currently. Just last week, I attempted to use the walk-up list feature in the app mid-morning and it told me it was at capacity. However, I approached the Cast Members at the entrance and they were actually seating people immediately and we walked right in. If it is actually at capacity, check back often. I just opened the app to check and it said at capacity, but about three minutes later it said the estimated wait time for the walk-up list was 25 minutes.
Should you have some time to wander, I suggest checking out the Black Spire Outpost and Dok-Onder's Den of Antiquities which are sure to provide you with unique souvenirs to bring back to planet Earth. I also suggest stopping at Ronto Roasters and grabbing a Ronto Wrap to fill your bellies, since Oga's Cantina provides mostly drinks with only a few small appetizers on the
menu.
Anna, I hope I was able to give you some hopeful insight into Oga's Cantina reservations. Between these tips, I feel that you will be most successful. Oh, and beware of the Fuzzy Tauntaun! That foam really does leave your tongue and lips quite tingling and numb for a bit. Til the spire!
