Hello! I have tried for months to get a reservation for Space220 at Epcot. I seem to be so unlucky. I already bought tickets - made reservations for the park. My questions is, do they accept walk ins? I know I may have to wait but I am willing to do that.

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Humberto. Thanks for stopping by to chit-chat with me about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

It sounds like you have a fun day at EPCOT planned while you are at the most magical place on earth. EPCOT is one of my very favorite parks because I love all of the snacks and sips that can be found around the theme park! Plus, the addition of the new attraction that just opened, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is just so much fun.

I'm sorry to know that you are having trouble securing a spot at Space 220. I've had the opportunity to dine there a few times and it really is out of this world. Right now, reservations can be hard to come by because it is so popular but I do have a few suggestions for you. The first is to head over to Space 220 when the restaurant opens to see if they have any same-day availability. A few weeks ago when I was there, I overhead a Cast Member talking to a few different parties about the availability that they had for dinner. So there is defiantly a chance that way. Maybe even check once the restaurant is open and then later in the day if you have your heart set on dining there. It never hurts to ask. The other way you can get into Space 220 right now without a reservation is by joining the queue for the bar area. The bar operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, the bar is only reserved for those Guests 21 and older. So if you have littles with you this won't work. If your party consists of all adults then this would be an option for you as well. The bar queue can be pretty lengthy. When I was there, they were quoting people a two-hour wait time to sit in this area.

If you aren't able to enjoy Space 220 on this visit, there are so many other great spots to enjoy while at EPCOT. My favorite spot for an afternoon break is at La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavillion. Most people know it as the margarita bar but there are a few tables tucked inside that you can sit and enjoy. They even serve light bites like chips, salsa, queso and guacamole - which I think are fantastic.

I have my fingers crossed that you are able to enjoy Space 220. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me

    Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
