Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian!
We used
Mobile Order a lot during our last visit to Walt Disney World Resort. We absolutely loved the convenience of being able to order our meals while waiting for an attraction, and then arriving at the quick service location to see that everything was waiting for us. Another great advantage with mobile order is the ability to see the various kinds of customization options that are available as well as the "allergy friendly" menus for those with
special dietary requests.
Based on my experience, there will be some places or menu items that will offer more customization options than others. For example, when I wanted to order a plain hamburger for my little dude when we visited
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe at
Magic Kingdom Park, I found it pretty easy to remove the cheese from the bacon cheeseburger that they offered… but not the bacon! Just click on the item, and then you should be able to say “no thanks” to some of the “included” options. But if you find that you still can’t customize your meal to your specifications or if some options aren’t available, then you’ll need to place your order with a Cast Member.
