I'm sorry to hear you were having trouble linking a dining reservation to your husband's
Disneyland app and account. I just wanted to let you know that it's not you! It's the app. Disneyland Resort works a bit differently than Walt Disney World when it comes to linking tickets, friends, and reservations. Unfortunately, you cannot share and link the same
dining reservations to multiple accounts. If you made the reservation on your account, you would be the only one who can see it and access it.
I've found for my family and me that it's easiest to just all share one Disney account when it comes to Disneyland Resort. We all have our tickets linked to the same account so that we can all have access to things like dining reservations if we have them. This also is the easiest option for us to utilize things like
Disney Genie+. By having all of our tickets on the same account, it's easy to purchase the service for all of us in one transaction, as well as easily make our next Lightning Lane selection at the same time.
Sharing the same account also works out well when we decide we all want something different for a snack or meal. I can
mobile order from multiple locations in the app through the account. I can go pick up one order and then send my husband and teens off to pick up the other orders if all of the orders are ready around the same time since multiple phones can be logged in to the same account at the same time.
