Hey there, hi there Jenna! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be. It's great to see a fellow Marylander here!
I'm sorry to hear you experienced some longer than usual hold times on the phone. Cast Members are working hard to assist all who are excited to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth, and we appreciate your patience. Fortunately, your issue can be taken care of online, and hopefully, it's simple enough that you'll feel confident managing it yourself. I'll walk you through the steps.
To change a
Disney Park Pass reservation from one theme park or date to another, you'll need to cancel your existing reservation and then make a new one. I recommend first checking the
Availability Calendar to be sure your preferred park is still accepting reservations for the new date. Next, select "My Plans" from the
My Disney Experience dropdown menu, and scroll down until you see the date you are looking to cancel. Click on "View Details" and then "Cancel Reservation."
Once you are no longer holding a confirmed Disney Park Pass reservation for that day, go ahead and make the new one. You can do this either from the
My Disney Experience dropdown menu (click on
Disney Park Pass System), or the "My Plans" section of My Disney Experience (click the + sign to add more plans). I hope this makes sense, and that everything works out for you, Jenna.
Thanks so much for sending your question our way. I know it can be difficult to keep track of some of the latest technical details involved with planning a Walt Disney World vacation these days, but remember, we're happy to help. If there's anything else we can do before your summer adventure begins, come visit us again. We're all ears!
