Welcome to planDisney, Tracy. Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question.
It looks like you’re getting ready to
return to a land of Magic. Next week, California residents will be able to explore Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park with limited capacity. I can’t wait to stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. and enjoy a DOLE Whip.
I’m sorry you were having issues making park reservations, Tracy. Without knowing additional details about your current
tickets (since there’re many different kinds), it’s difficult for me to fully provide you a solution. Shortly before the theme parks shut down due to the pandemic, Disneyland Resort introduced a tiered ticketing system (for single day tickets). Popular days like weekends or holidays are categorized as Tier 5, which are pricier and have no blockout dates. Tier 1 ticket, on the other hand, has many blockout dates but is more affordable. When Disneyland Resort theme parks reopen next week on April 30, 2021, Tier 1 tickets are not available for park entry (at least for the first 60 days, through June 28, 2021). I’m guessing your current tickets have blockout dates that may be restricting you from booking a park reservation. Again, that’s just my hunch without knowing which type of ticket you currently possess.
I recommend that you
contact Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636 to speak with a friendly Cast Member. They will be able to help you sort out your Theme Park Tickets in no time! You may experience some wait time before connecting to a Cast Member as they’re working diligently to ensure you and all Guests have the best experience. We appreciate your patience!
If you have further questions with planning your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, please don’t hesitate to
write us again, Tracy.
Have a magical day,
Kiki
