Hi Heidi! Thank you so much for visiting planDisney and asking this question. I'm happy to help!
Our family really cherishes our Disney vacations and we have traditions as well, so I understand how important this can be. I have a few suggestions that I hope can help you get the
Rose & Crown Dining Room reservation you are wishing for. Because you are still almost 60 days out from March 28th, I would suggest you continue to check every morning, first thing. There is always a possibility that more availability could open up due to a cancellation. You could also split up the number of your party as you search for reservations and try to reserve two tables for the same time or within 15 minutes of each other. You would need to have someone else in your travel party make one of the reservations. Once you check in at the restaurant, you can request to be seated together. While there is no guarantee this request can be accommodated, cast members will always do their best and in my experience, they are generally able to grant this wish. Another suggestion I have is to check for the availability of the
Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package which has a seating time of 8:15 p.m. and includes dining on the waterside patio while viewing
Harmonious. If you are unable to reserve a later time for your date, I would recommend arriving at
EPCOT early on March 28th and stopping by the restaurant when they first open at 11:30. This restaurant has a walk-up list and you can check for availability. You can check for
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability in the
My Disney Experience App, by scanning the QR code found outside the entrance, or by speaking with a cast member.
Heidi, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad's medical diagnosis. I hope your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be the most special and magical one yet.
Best,
Lisa
