Hi Mary,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!
I’m sorry you weren’t able to get a reservation to dine at
Cinderella’s Royal Table for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort, but don’t lose hope! My first recommendation would be to keep checking in the coming days to see whether any additional tables have been released into the system. Sometimes, the restaurant’s full inventory isn’t released immediately, while final tweaks are made to the Theme Park’s hours.
Even if you don’t manage to snag a table right away, keep checking to see whether another Guest has cancelled a
dining reservation that you can snap up. While there isn’t a specific time of day that is better than others in terms of picking up cancelled dining reservations, I’ve found that logging on first thing in the morning is when I have the most luck.
If all of those tips fail and you don’t manage to snag a table in the coming weeks, I recommend that you check availability in the days leading up to your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, and even the day before you’d like to dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table. That’s when LOTS of dining reservations get cancelled in order to avoid being charged a no-show fee pursuant to each individual restaurant’s
cancellation policy. I’ve found from experience that reservations often start popping up a week beforehand, so that’s definitely when I would start checking availability more regularly.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
