Hi there Katie, and welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
Your Walt Disney World vacation is just a dream away! I love getting started on my plans as soon as possible, so I understand being anxious to get your trip officially on the books. Currently, room-only reservations and vacation packages are available through the end of 2022. We're still waiting on bookings to open for 2023 and beyond, so I recommend checking the website frequently or contacting an authorized Disney travel planner who can do the work for you. Vacation packages tend to be released in the spring or summer for the following year, so I would start checking more frequently in a few months. Fortunately, you'll be visiting while Walt Disney World's 18-month long,
50th-anniversary celebration is still going on, so you'll experience all of the EARidescent excitement!
While you wait for your magical vacation, I'd be happy to suggest a few things my family and I do to help the time pass before our adventure begins. If you're a
Disney+ subscriber, check out the Imagineering Story and Behind the Attraction. Both are fun and interesting for Mouseketeers of all ages, but my primary-school-age children prefer the shorter Behind the Attraction episodes. Be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog and
find us on social media to keep up with new attractions, restaurants, and resort offerings that will be available during your trip. Finally, check out some of our
Panel Extras for more ideas about
getting the whole family involved in the planning process and fun ways to
count down to your vacation.
I hope this has been helpful, Katie. Best wishes as you continue your planning journey, and if there's anything else we can do to make things even more magical, don't hesitate to reach out again. You've got a friend in me!
