    I just tried to book a mermaid package for my daughter at the Pirates League for the end of Sept (on a day I'm expecting MNSSHP to take place)and they said there was no availability for that day. Are more times released when dates are officially announced?

    Hi, Candice!

    While I have not heard that the Pirates League "hold back" any reservation times, you may want to keep checking for a cancellation.  I seem to have the best luck calling early in the morning when the reservation system has reset overnight.  Give a call to (407)WDW-CREW every few days or whenever you feel like maybe a little "pixie dust" is on your side!  You just never know when a pirate or a mermaid has another engagement and needs to cancel their reservation and you can take their scheduled time. 

    I would especially check when you start to hit about 45 days out from your preferred date.  This is when guests need to make their final payments for any resort package they booked, and if they find they need to cancel their vacation for whatever reason, they will also cancel any other bookings they made.

    So do not give up on your "Little Mermaid!"  Sending you pixie dust and good luck that you will get the reservation you are looking for!
