Hello, David!
Thanks so much for letting me be your planning sidekick! I'm sorry you're having trouble finding what you need when searching for hotels around the Disneyland Resort. I'll do my best to help you find plenty of options!
When it comes to searching for hotels around the Disneyland Resort, there are two categories of hotels you can search for. The
Disneyland Resort Hotels include the Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Paradise Pier Hotel (soon to be Pixar Place Hotel). You can enter your dates on this webpage and search for availability at all three of those hotels at the same time.
The second group of hotels in the area is
Good Neighbor Hotels, a large group of Disney-approved properties. Because the quantity of rooms is so much higher, it may be easier to find a Good Neighbor Hotel at busy times. These hotels need to be searched from the Good Neighbor Hotel page, they won't show up if you're searching for Disneyland Resort Hotels.
I just did a quick search for Disneyland Resort Hotels during the dates you provided. I do not see any availability at Paradise Pier Hotel, and the options at the other two Disneyland Resort Hotels are fairly limited.
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is a really popular time to visit! But I do have some good news for you! I think you'll find plenty of options available when you
search for Good Neighbor Hotels during your planned dates. I like to use the filter option at the top of the list to select "Distance to Disneyland Resort" and set it to "Less Than Half a Mile" so that I know we are within easy walking distance of the parks. You never know when you'll need an afternoon nap! You can also use the "Hotel Features & Dining" filter to search for hotels that provide free transportation to the parks if you find yourself staying a little bit farther down the road.
If you don't have tickets yet then you might want to purchase your tickets as part of a
Good Neighbor Hotel Package! Don't forget that you need
valid theme park tickets and park reservations to enter the parks each day.
Good luck with your planning, David! If you have more questions I hope you'll come back and visit planDisney again!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
