Tried to book Fantasmic Dinner Package for 11/4, but everything is booked. My husband is disabled. Are there any alternate waiting areas, queues or seating for disabled guests for Fantasmic? Suggestionsfor how to make this experience worthwhile for us?

    Hi Liza,

I am sorry that you haven't been able to get reservations for the Fantasmic Dinner Package but don't give up! Keep checking - especially closer to the date and even the day that you plan to attend Fantasmic. November is a few months away and plans could change for other Guests so reservations could become available. There is indeed seating for disabled Guests and wheelchair accessible seating along the back row of the Fantasmic theater. Without the dining package, you will have to wait in line with everyone else. Once you reach the top of the walk way & enter the theater, a Cast Member can escort you to an available handicapped accessible seat. One person from your party may sit with your husband and the rest of your party will be directed to additional companion seating near you (if available).

If your husband has a hard time waiting in lines and doesn't usually use a wheelchair or ECV, you may want to rent one for the evening you attend Fantasmic.  Wheelchairs are available for rent on a first come basis at DHS at Oscar's Super Service located just inside the Main Entrance - they also rent ECVs.

There are companion restrooms located in the theater which should make things a little more convenient for you. At the end of the show, hang back & let the crowds get ahead of you. We do this at every park if we are leaving following the parades or fireworks.

I'm sure that you are already familiar with the Guest Assistance Card but the mother hen in me just has to say it anyway. Be sure to pick one up for your husband at Guest Relations at the first park you enter during your trip. You'll only need to do this once & they can date it for the duration of your trip.  Please let me know if you have further questions regarding handicapped accessibility.

Remember to keep checking for cancellations for the Fantasmic Dinner Package. Wishing you many magical memories :-)
