Hi, I tried to book a disneyland resort hotel room online using my disney gift card. However, I didn't see the option to use the gift card as a payment method. Could you advise me how to use the gift card to pay for my hotel room?

    Hi there Ying-chieh,

Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a magical day.

I’m so glad to hear you have Disney Gift Cards, they are a wonderful & useful gift! They can be used to purchase Theme Park Tickets, Annual Passports, merchandise, food and so much more while at the Disneyland Resort.

Here’s the guideline for Disney Gift Cards:

    - Guests can use one Disney Gift Card per purchase online
    - Guests can call by phone at 714-781-4400 to make a purchase using up to three Disney Gift Cards
    - Guests can visit a Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth or Disneyland Resort Hotel front desk using unlimited Disney Gift Cards

However, there are limitations for room reservations using a Disney Gift Card. In order to book a room at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you will need to secure it with a credit card. Once you arrive, you will still be required to keep a credit card on file during your stay. Hakuna Matata though, the Cast Member can use your Disney Gift Cards for payment on your room upon check-out.

I hope this helps and that you have a pixie dusted time. If you have any more questions, please visit me here and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
