Hi! I tried to book the boardwalk villas for my trip in January using my points but I had to waitlist the trip. My question is - what are the odds of the waitlist actually coming through? How often do people get to go on the trip they waitlist? Thanks!

Hi, Jodi!

To be honest, we've had really great luck when we've had a Disney Vacation Club reservation placed on the Wait List. Out of 5 or 6 six requests, we've gotten what we wanted all but once.

Of course, the chances of getting a desired, Wait Listed reservation increase if you're not trying to stay during a holiday weekend or a Run Disney event; otherwise, January is a great month to try to get your first choice in accommodations.

Hang in there, keep your chin up and I'll send all the Pixie Dust your way that I can! It can happen! :-)
