Hi Kerrie,
I have a confession...I am a habitual "split-stay" guest, meaning that I often stay at two or more different Walt Disney World Resort hotels during a single trip. You see for me, I find it difficult to choose between so many incredible
Disney World Resort hotels which I have come to know and love. Do I choose my beloved
Disney's Beach Club Resort, with its enviable location on Crescent Lake, access to Stormalong Bay, and close easy proximity to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's BoardWalk? Or do I choose my childhood favorite,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, with its swaying palm trees, white sandy beach, and exotic tiki torches? Invariably, I typically find myself taking the easier way out and choosing not one, but two different Resorts for most of my stays.
Fortunately, for those of us who choose to stay at two (or more) different Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Disney makes it super easy. Simply call or deliver your luggage to Bell Services at your first hotel on the day of check-out and Disney will handle all the "heavy lifting". By mid to late afternoon that day, your luggage should be delivered to Bell Services at your new Resort hotel. Simply contact Bell Services once your room is ready and it will be delivered to you.
Kerrie, I can also assure you that changing between two different Walt Disney World Resort hotels during your stay will not affect in any way your My Disney Experience account. However, if you purchased the Disney Dining Plan, credits relating to the first Resort hotel reservation will only be available until midnight on your day of check out from that Resort hotel.
Wishing you a MAGICAL vacation!
Trish
