Are the trick-or-treat stations for Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween Party open till midnight when the party ends or do they close the stations at a specific time?

    Hi Lori,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party really is a spooktacular treat - it’s probably one of my favourite Special Events at Walt Disney World Resort. One of the most surprising parts of the Party when I first got to experience it was how much candy we got throughout the night at all of the trick-or-treat stations. I had several pounds to lug back to my Disney Resort Hotel when it was all said and done!

Based on my experience in previous years, most trick-or-treat stations do stay open for the entire Party, that is, right up until midnight. I think it’s a great use of your precious Party time to leave filling up on treats and candy to the end. From what I remember, there were some stations that did close up a few minutes before the clock struck 12, but that was generally because they were more out-of-the way than the others and didn’t have as much of a lineup.

Because this information can change for this year’s parties, I’d recommend double checking whether the treat stations will stay open until midnight with any Cast Member or at Guest Relations when you arrive to start your night of fun at Magic Kingdom Park. And don't forget to check out the Special Event costume guidelines to make sure that your costume is good to go, too!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
