Howdy, Allan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and celebrating it at the Disneyland Resort brings all sorts of extra ghoulish fun! As far as I am aware, there isn’t an organized trick-or-treating event in the Downtown Disney District. However, if you happen to have a ticket to Mickey’s Halloween Party which takes place on select nights at Disneyland Park, then you and your little goblins can trick-or-treat at designated stations throughout the park. Or, if you are staying at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel, then there is trick-or-treating at the hotels exclusively for registered hotel Guests. You and your family can make the rounds at the treat locations at all three hotels on select afternoons through October 31st. There are also special arts and crafts activities to enjoy along with trick-or-treating. Check with the front desk when you arrive for complete information.
If you have other plans that bring you to the Downtown Disney District, then rest assured that there will be no shortage of treats! Marceline’s Confectionary has oodles of sugary goodness available including some spooky caramel apples. Or stop into
Sprinkles for a delectable chocolate marshmallow cupcake (my favorite!) or try one of their daily specials. Finally, head into the brand new
Salt and Straw for some gourmet ice cream. In addition to flavors like honey lavender, roasted strawberry coconut, and chocolate gooey brownie, they have three seasonal creations just for Halloween!
I hope your visit to the Disneyland Resort is full of spooky and sweet fun!
